Living Room Accents

The 1st shot here shows the "After" with the accent walls painted.  You can see from the "Before" shots in yellow that the artwork tends to blend in with the yellow walls.  

To determine the right accent color, I carefully studied the overall color palette in this living room space while also honing in on one main color within the two pieces of wall art on either side of the fireplace.  The color I chose was Flower Pot (SW 6334) by Sherwin-Williams. 

After painting the two side wall panels, it became obvious that I needed to paint the inner wall of the fireplace as well.  Notice how all three wall hangings now really pop off the walls!  It's amazing what a little accent paint can do to highlight all your art treasures!
